We feel that
training is essential to the safe operation of any aircraft.
One of the major benefits to our members is access to
facilities for “pre-training” in jet aircraft.
All the new manufacturers will require that the pilots
attend manufacturer’s initial training. Our goal
is that our members will have “jet time” before
they attend the manufacturer’s school.
Initial Ground School – Some training
facilities require that you travel hundreds of miles and
train with them for 15 – 20 days! Most successful
businessmen can not take themselves out of their businesses
for that long. Under our program the initial training
can be conducted near your business or home. If a group
of pilots can be arranged, then the cost per student will
be reduced. The convenience of having flexibility on the
initial jet training is very important to our members.
Building Time – By obtaining flight
time in jet aircraft prior to delivery, our members will
be able to transition quickly into their new jet. Our
members who “pre-train” will have the freedom
to use their aircraft the way they were intended to be
used – single pilot.
Transition – The amount of time
required to transition into your new jet is not arbitrarily
set by someone in “Home Office”. It depends
on your ability – period. After completing the required
initial training in your jet, you will then obtain experience
with one of the Association’s approved pilot. The
amount of time required that you must be accompanied by
another pilot depends on your ability to safely operate
your new jet.
Recurrent Training is also essential
to keeping your edge and the continued safe operation
of your aircraft. Currently all the major insurance companies
require annual simulator training. Although we feel that
simulators are a crucial piece any training regiment,
we do not feel that it is the only option. In our program
the members can use approved simulator facilities or our
approved list of training facilities. This flexibility
is another feature that sets our program apart.
